Communication Design Laboratory (CDL) has started the project of "DESIGNPiece_00" as
a part of trials to aim at the ideal design. The first project, "DESIGNPiece_01" is the presentation
of a desk calendar, "wave motion" designed by Keiko Hirano. By binding a calendar with two
organic acrylic plates, which creates three layer structures, it can naturally become a part of
space as if melting into it. A calendar is designed to cover two months at both sides to enhance
its function.The calendar itself is sold separately as a refill for the acrylic cover to be used
the year after.
